Customize Desktop Using Rainmeter

Here is a simple way to make using rainmeter a bit easier than it already is. To Customize you desktop do the following:

1. Choose a single color wallpaper for your desktop.

2. Minimize the number of icons you have on the desktop. To provide a clean look remove everything !

3. Close all rainmeter widgets (if any) that are already open on the desktop.

4. Right click on rainmeter logo on system tray and go to Enigma > sidebar/taskbar

5. You will see a sub menu with serval .ini files on display ( calendar.ini, week.ini etc.)

6. Clicking the .ini files opens the widget onto the desktop.

7. Think of all the widgets you want on you desktop and put them one by one arranging them.

8. Now that we have the widgets we need, we need to further customize each widget bu adjusting its settings.

9. This is done by opening the .ini file in notebook and editing under the 'variables' section.

More about adjusting settings of the widgets in the next post...
